Job Description

  • Provide the modelling expertise to support decision making, localized design activities and enhance operational regimes within Drainage Networks Operations & Maintenance.
  • Undertake gap analysis between present modelling programmes and the full coverage required by DNO&M
  • Carry out root cause analysis with field support from O&M
  • Establish a model maintenance programme for use aligned to all current and future level of service needs.
  • Ensure that models are maintained and enhanced in line with the asset handovers
  • Utilise InfoNet for catchment and condition assessment analysis whilst the model build activities are undertaken and identify and feedback GIS data improvement as a result of this.
  • Identify knowledge sharing opportunities and alignment activities with the model build teams on QIDMP and Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC)
  • Prepare technical documents for procuring a specialist consultant to build, calibrate / verify models. Establish standard support service requirements for standard data collection activities for modelling i.e. ancillary surveys, pumping station surveys, pressure and flow surveys
  • Manage contractor and ensure data quality and accuracy and coverage is appropriate
  • Undertake stakeholder analysis and deliver a communications plan to raise awareness of modelling and benefits across DNO&M
  • Support Asset Plan development with model outputs and analysis
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety Policy and Procedures within the workplace and comply with any new work instructions
  • Undertake any other works assigned to support the function of Ashghal

Responsibilities:

  1. Candidates should pass the medical test before travelling to Qatar, as per company checklist.
  2. Candidate should bring with him the attested original Educational Certificates.
  3. Attested Original Certificate to be surrendered to company.
  4. Work location will be anywhere in Qatar as informed by the company and subject to change to any project.
  5. If the employee resigns before completion of 3 years contract, recruitment expenses to be paid by the employee.
  6. If the employee is absent for any working day, without informing the company, penalty imposed by Client will be charged to him, in addition to Edgewater imposed penalty.
  7. During the probation period, if Client finds the employee not suitable, you will return to your home country.
  8. If the dependent family is living in Qatar, family ticket and medical insurance for Spouse and one
  9. Child only are provided. Documents for Qatar residents to be provided to the dependent.
  10. Employee should provide 3 month notice before resigning.
  11. Other conditions applicable as per Qatar Labour Law.
